Canadian C3 Gasmasks! These are the descendent of the British WW2 era MK2 Light antigas respirator, While the British decided to drop the M2 in favor of the S6, the Canadians where quite happy with the M2 and decided to make some modern quality of life improvements that make these still quite useable today.

These include

1. An oral nasal cup, the big one prevents the mask from fogging making it useable for longer.

2. Improved straps that are more strongly elastic and allow for better fitting of the mask and quicker doning

3. Impact resistant plastic lenses, the original M2 design had glass lenses that could be broken more easily

Personally i find these distantly wearable for longer periods of time as the facepiece and oral nasal cup are very rounded preventing any discomfort during wear, the facepiece also has a rather large sealing surface providing a reliable seal with minimal effort. While the masks we got from Canada did not have their original filters a 90s dated Finnish replacement will be provided with every purchase.

Also, some have enamel coated metal parts, some are in the white. seems about 50/50
