The second variation of the first post war Soviet Civil Gasmask, some changes/improvements include the headharness arrangement, hose leningh and coating the hose with fabric to better protect it. Mask wears more comfortably than later soviet masks due to utalizeing a headharness over a "Hood" design. Mask will come fresh out of the crate, we will brush off a majority of the rubber preservative before shipping however some may remain. Will include the Carrier (With Soviet acceptance, stock number and manufacturer markings) and a GP-4u marked filter in either gray or brown.

(Note and Warning, while the mask is perfectly fine to wear when cleaned the filters included are all from the early 50s to late 60s and contain Asbestos, while perfectly safe to keep and display or have in kit for collection purposes you should NOT use these filters for anything other than display and collection, However since the masks are 40mm threaded safe modern filters are available.)
